Handmade silver pendant-good luck charm, inspired by a widely-used original drachma.

The front side of the pendant is the actual reverse side of the original coin. A sterling silver-18K gold plated bezel attached to the sterling silver coin transforms it into a pendant.

OBV: Inscription reads : “ELLINIKI DIMOKRATIA” in Greek fonts, meaning “Greek Republic”. In the central part, a 19^th century ship is depicted.

REV: Inscription reads : “ Konstantinos Kanaris” in Greek fonts, the name of a Greek hero of the 1821 revolution. Kanaris head depicted in the central part.

The specific original drachma has been minted in a large number from 1976 to 1986, and is part of the third modern drachma system (after 1954).
